Elisha has worked in various capacities including as a women's clothing and accessories boutique owner, a homeschool teacher, a high school varsity girls' tennis coach, and the proud co-owner of a local deli with her husband. Most importantly, she has been a chef, chauffeur, photographer, party planner, appointment scheduler, and personal shopper as a stay-at-home mom to her four children.
She is currently working full-time as a freelance editor and writer. She lives with her family in a small city set in the valleys of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. When she’s not at her desk or running her kids to their various activities, you can find her on the tennis courts or eating out at one of her favorite restaurants.
Her experience in the digital publishing space spans over a decade. She began her work as a writer and editor when her undergraduate English professor asked her to assist with scholarly research and reviewing essays. It was while proofreading countless essays, searching for grammatical errors and improving paragraph structure, that she found her passion for the entire writing process. She eventually took that passion to her profession and focused her expertise on food and lifestyle content. While being an active writer for years, editing became a natural progression in her career. She currently writes and edits full-time for various high-traffic websites.
She holds a B.A. in English and a M.A. in English Literature.
