Halloween Donuts Party Snack Ideas
Not only are these Vampire Donuts a great way to start of the Halloween holiday, but they’re also perfect for school class parties, Halloween birthdays, and fun treats for the kids in your neighborhood who make come knocking on your door. One of the best aspects of these Vampire Donuts? You literally have to cook nothing! The donuts being used in this recipe are already made, and you just have to get creative in decorating them. Seriously, it couldn’t be any easier!
Ingredients to prepare Spooky Halloween Donuts:
- 1 package of plastic vampire teeth (not edible)
- 1 dozen of your favorite glazed donuts
- Mini candy eyes
- Black decorating gel
- Red decorating gel
- Parchment Paper
How to prepare the Halloween Vampire Donuts:
- Place a sheet of parchment paper to cover your work area and line your glazed donuts on the parchment paper
- For each donut, take a pair of vampire teeth, holding them closed and gently place them in the center of the donut and carefully let go and allow them to open
- Use your black decorating gel to create a “V” shaped or “widow’s peak” hairline
- Using your decorating gel, place a small dollop on the back of each eye and place onto your donut above the top of the teeth
- Put lines of red decorating gel from the bottom of the teeth down
- Repeat for each vampire donut
- Allow to sit at room temperature for about 20 mins or until the decorative gel is dry
