Ingredients you’ll need for Magnolia Bakery Cupcakes:
- 1 1/2 cups cake flour*
- 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup of whole milk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 sticks of unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 egg whites
How to make the Magnolia Bakery Cupcakes:
Step 1: Preparation
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. and line your 12-cup muffin tins with paper liners. You are going to want to be sure you are using paper and not aluminum, as aluminum could make your delicate cupcake batter stick.
Step 2: Mixing
Whisk together all of your dry ingredients in a medium sized bowl. This includes your flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Meanwhile, in a 2 cup liquid measurement cup, whisk together all of your wet ingredients, such as your whole milk, sour cream and vanilla.
In a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, cream your butter, sugar, and vanilla on medium

- Gel food coloring (pink)

Add butter and powdered sugar to a bowl.

Step 2: Smoothing
