The Island in Pigeon Forge
When it comes to booking a hotel, location is key. While hopping in your car and driving around is always an option, it isn’t always the most convenient way to get about. The good news? The Margaritaville Island Hotel is located on The Island in Pigeon Forge. The Island is where you will find a ton of options for shopping, food, and fun. All located right outside the door. It’s always great to have options that everyone can enjoy.
After dinner and shopping in the Island of Pigeon Forge, we took a ride around the Great Smoky Mountain Ferris Wheel. It is so pretty lit up at night with great views of the city.
Speaking of great views, we also always looked forward to going back to our room after a busy day and hanging outside on our balcony, which overlooked Market Street.

Margaritaville Coffee Shop
Although the rooms at Margaritaville Island Hotel are equipped and stocked with coffee, mom enjoys her delicious lattes. It was a nice surprise to find a coffee shop in our hotel which offers lattes, muffins, sandwiches, and snacks. I would head downstairs each morning to enjoy some alone time and my latte before everyone woke up.
-
Changes in Latitude Bar
Make certain to stop at the Changes in Latitude Bar and grab yourself a nice cold margarita or beer. On certain nights of the week, they have live entertainment. The view from the outside patio is a great way to sit and just shake off some of that travel “lag” as you’re starting to relax a bit on your trip.
-
The Margaritaville Restaurant
If you happen to get a bit hungry, ordering a delicious bite to eat is super simple as well. The Margaritaville Restaurant is located directly across from the hotel. Rooftop Pool Bar
If you have kids, this may be where you’ll spend most of your time! The pool is nice and offers a great view of the skyline…and the beautiful Great Smoky Mountain Ferris Wheel. Truly stunning, especially if you happen to be there at night when the sun is setting.

Chill Bar
While your kids are swimming away, you can order up a bite to eat or *another* refreshing drink from the poolside Chill Bar. Life is good, right?
Beach-Themed Rooms
While the hotel and amenities were amazing, nothing could have prepared us for the beauty of our room. Once that door swung open, our jaws dropped!
We were literally in our own paradise, surrounded by blue skies and sandy beaches.
Not only was the decor perfect, but the room was absolutely clean from top to bottom. Plus, there was an abundance of room for our family of four. Never once did we feel crowded, ever.
I absolutely loved the bright colors in this room. The oranges, the blues…it all flowed together and just gave our overall stay a much more “cheery and happy” vibe. There was even a margarita blender right in our room! You don’t see that everyday.
Traveling with two teens, it is almost impossible not to have enough snacks and foods readily available. All the rooms at Margaritaville Island Hotel feature a small kitchenette with sink, refrigerator, and microwave.
