Thoroughbreds Chophouse and Seafood Grill – Fine Dining Experience
Located in Myrtle Beach, SC is the famous Thoroughbreds Chophouse and Seafood Grill. This fine dining restaurant has been around since 1988 and truly a favorite for the locals, but also everyone who visits Myrtle Beach every year. As many times we have visited Myrtle Beach, we had not an opportunity to stop here. I’m so glad that we did!
One of my favorite parts of eating at Thoroughbreds was knowing that I was getting a classic fine dining experience. I wasn’t just eating at another chain restaurant; I was sitting down to a fabulous dinner. They pride themselves in the finest beef and ultra-fresh seafood. If you have never been to Myrtle Beach, you need to visit Thoroughbreds, so you can the full “Myrtle” experience.

I was truly impressed when I walked up to the restaurant and saw the entrance. Very welcoming, but also very prominent. I felt as though I was walking in to eat a meal fit for a queen. Although the décor is very high class, with beautiful antiques and oil paintings as well, I did not feel the least bit out of place or underdressed. I loved sitting down to a meal with such a fancy setting and table napkins placed in your lap. I especially loved sitting next to the fireplace! Very romantic…

As you can see from some of my pictures, the dining experience was indescribable. Every plate that came out was appealing and the waiter that delivered it was very kind and warm. Everything I ate from the salad to the filet and mashed potatoes were definitely mouth watering.

I would recommend the table side Cesar salad. We did not have an opportunity to try it but our table next to us did! The presentation of the waiter making it in front of your table was pretty awesome!
Dessert was equally amazing, albeit my favorite part because I can’t say no to something sweet.May I make a suggestion? Try the delicious “Flaming Bananas Foster.” They also make this right at your table.
You know what else I really enjoyed? Sitting down with my family and just enjoying a nice meal. I didn’t have to worry about the table service because it was exceptional! I knew that the food was going to be great and it was. It was refreshing to sit down and have such an incredible experience at Thoroughbreds. Honestly, I struggled to leave because I could just sit there and eat that incredible food all day and bask in the glorious service offered there as well.
I’d encourage you to check out Thoroughbreds Chophouse and Seafood Grille and see what they have to offer. You won’t be disappointed. Bring the family and have an incredible evening with them. It’s a favorite of ours and I know it will be a favorite of yours as well! If you are celebrating a special occassion, then definitely keep them in mind.
Thanks to Thoroughbreds Chop House for hosting us and giving us such an incredible experience.
