Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas

Everyone loves fajitas…but what if there were a way to make them in a simple way that takes away the stress and cleanup that sometimes comes along with this tasty dish? The answer? These delicious Sheet Pan Fajitas. They literally take away the stress and mess of making dinner!

Welcome to this week’s edition of Tasty Tuesday. You can find more delicious recipes from my friends, at the bottom of this post.

The best part about this recipe is that you can cook it all together in one simple pan. It saves so much time and effort, and not to mention you aren’t going to have to spend a huge chunk of time once dinner is done cleaning up, either. To me, that’s totally worth it. (Plus – the taste of these fajitas are crazy good!)

What goes with chicken fajitas?

Literally almost anything. Chicken is such a versatile meat that you won’t have any issue coming up with ways to cook these fajitas. Some people like flour tortillas, while others prefer corn. You can even add in some more veggies to this recipe as well to really take it over the top.

How do you cut chicken breast for fajitas?

The way you’re going to want to cut the chicken breast is to have it in strips. That way it’s nice and tender and easy to chew. Fajita meat is different from taco meat in the fact that it’s not ground up.

How do you make chicken fajitas from scratch?

There are actually a lot of ways that you can make chicken fajitas from scratch but this recipe is one of my favorites. Some people cook up the chicken first, followed by the veggies one by one on the stove, but who really has time for that?

Are fajitas healthy?

Fajitas can be a healthier version than other options as there is less fat in the chicken meat being used. Just be aware that most of the “extra” calories for this recipe are going to come from the toppings that you put on at the end. While sour cream and cheese are delicious, they’re a quick way to add on several hundred calories without even realizing that you’re doing so.
