Instant Pot Chicken Marsala
Ingredients
- 2 thin cut chicken breasts
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons oil
- salt and pepper
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, quartered
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup marsala wine
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup half and half
Instructions
- Place oil into the instant pot.
- Add flour into a shallow dish. Dredge chicken in flour on both sides and place in instant pot.
- Sautee chicken on both sides until chicken is browned.
- Remove chicken from pot and season with salt and pepper.
- Add mushroom, broth, wine, and garlic to instant pot.
- Add chicken on top and place the lid onto the instant pot.
- Seal shut and close the pressure release valve.
- Set instant pot to manual, high pressure for 5 minutes.
- When the cooking cycle is complete, quick release pressure and open the instant pot.
- Remove chicken from pot and place onto serving plate.
- Add butter and cream to the instant pot and mix until butter is melted.
- Serve with mushroom and sauce over chicken.
