Instant Pot Chicken Marsala
Ingredients
2 thin cut chicken breasts
1/3 cup flour
2 tablespoons oil
salt and pepper
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, quartered
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup marsala wine
1 tablespoon minced garlic
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup half and half
Instructions
Place oil into the instant pot.
Add flour into a shallow dish. Dredge chicken in flour on both sides and place in instant pot.
Sautee chicken on both sides until chicken is browned.
Remove chicken from pot and season with salt and pepper.
Add mushroom, broth, wine, and garlic to instant pot.
Add chicken on top and place the lid onto the instant pot.
Seal shut and close the pressure release valve.
Set instant pot to manual, high pressure for 5 minutes.
When the cooking cycle is complete, quick release pressure and open the instant pot.
Remove chicken from pot and place onto serving plate.
Add butter and cream to the instant pot and mix until butter is melted.
Serve with mushroom and sauce over chicken.
