Are you in search of some true southern family fun, dinner, and a show all-in-one during your vacation in Branson, Missouri? Look no further than the Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Attraction. There you will feast on a delicious, southern four-course meal and watch one of the most entertaining shows in town. The show has a friendly North versus South competition, spectacular musical production, showcasing some beautiful horses, plus an unforgettable four-course meal complete with a delicious dessert! This post is in partnership with Stone Castle Hotel and Conference Center. As always, all opinions are my own.
Dolly Parton’s Stampede – Serious Fun for All Ages
What we love most about this dinner theater is that there were guests in the crowd of all different ages. Anywhere that I know I can sit and watch a great show full of family-friendly content has my vote any day! Dolly Parton’s Stampede pulls out all the stops to put on a truly stellar show. The performance, stunts and musical production were top-notch and well executed. There is so much chemistry in the arena! The horses are both elegant and talented as well. These horses are well-taken care of and they seem to truly enjoy being part of the act.
Arrive early to catch the pre-show.
You don’t want to miss the pre-show at the Dolly Parton’s Stampede, trust me! About an hour before the main show, the pre-show will start. You will be amazed at the time and energy that is given to the pre-show production! Get ready to listen to some great banjo playing. Do you want to know what the best part is? This extra little hidden gem of a show is included in your ticket price. It’s like getting two shows for the price of one. Don’t forget to order a cold Pepsi beverage straight from a cowboy boot! It’s a super fun way to really enjoy that country and music filled moment.
Your taste buds will be on cloud nine!
I know I mentioned a time (or two) that this dinner theater is one for the books, and it’s not a small meal. It’s actually a four-course meal and every time the next item is brought out, you will be giddy to take your next bite! With the four-course meal at the Stampede, expect some creamy vegetable soup, a homemade buttery biscuit, a whole rotisserie chicken, hickory-smoked barbequed pork loin, corn on the cob, and herb-basted potato, plus a specialty dessert.
Hospitality and Kindness are shown everywhere you go.
While the dinner and the show were the “star” of the theater, the employees and servers take great care of you. The southern Missouri hospitality wins my heart! It is obvious that every employee puts a ton of pride in the fact that they were a part of helping Dolly Parton’s Stampede run like a well-oiled machine.
It’s no wonder why Dolly Parton’s Stampede is the “The World’s Most Visited Dinner Attraction!”
Once the show is over, you will feel a bit sad walking out of those doors. I know, I did! From start to finish, my attention was solely given to what was going on in that arena (and on my plate, of course).
