Creating a fun dessert to go along with a movie release or Frozen-themed birthday party is always a great idea. Plus, you can leave your oven off and not have to spend hours making these adorable homemade rice Krispie treats!

Can you use regular marshmallows instead of mini marshmallows for this dessert?

You can! (seriously, use whatever you have in the cupboard at home) Just make certain to measure out the number of marshmallows and add them into the mixture.

You can even have some fun and add in some flavored or colored marshmallows as well. After all, you’re creating these Frozen-themed desserts so why not have a little bit of fun?

How do you store leftover Rice Krispie treats?

If you want to keep them as fresh as possible, store them in an airtight bag or container so they stay fresh. Since there aren’t any dairy or eggs in this recipe, there is really no need to keep them in the fridge.

Sealed and stationary on your counter is the perfect place for these treats.
