It’s no stretch to say that our family could spend an entire day baking away all the adorable Easter desserts and treats that we’ve all come to love and adore.

These Bunny Butt Rice Krispie Treats are no exception. Even just seeing them make me smile and every year, these are a hit in our home. The great part about making them together as a family is that we can each make and decorate our own! 

Simple to make, and fun to give, you’ll love the ease of these delicious Rice Krispie treat desserts!

Bunny Butt Rice Krispies Treats

Aren’t these bunny butt’s seriously adorable? It’s hard not to smile when eating these delicious Easter treats!

What are the bunny feet made of?

In this recipe, they are made from marshmallows but if you have fondant or other ideas, make them your own! You can even replace them altogether with candy treats like sweet tarts. 

Do I have to use my oven to cook these Bunny Butt Rice Krispies Treats?

Nope! This is one of the amazing parts of this recipe! Besides the use of your microwave, these Easter treats are no bake! In just a few short minutes, you’ll be chowing down on some fun and yummy Easter desserts. 

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 15oz marshmallows
  • 3 Tablespoons softened butter
  • 2 cups light blue candy melts
  • Giant marshmallows
  • 5” circle cookie cutter
  • 1-2” scalloped circle cookie cutter
  • 9×13” pan
  • Decorating bag
  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • Potato masher

Directions

Grease a small 9×13” pan with butter or a nonstick cooking spray.

In a large microwave-safe bowl, heat the marshmallows with 3 tablespoons of butter and heat for 1-2 minutes until the marshmallows get puffy.

Now mix in six cups of Rice Krispies cereal with the marshmallows.

Scoop the mixture into your pan, pressing down firmly with a potato masher and freeze for 15 minutes before using both the circle cookie cutter and scalloped circle cookie cutter to cut out your shapes.

Heat the candy melts on 50% power for 2-3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds and pour into a decorating bag.

Cut the marshmallows in half and use the blue candy melt bag to stick the small Rice Krispie tail on center and two marshmallow feet to the bottom.

Use the blue melted candy melt bag to draw the footprints on the marshmallows and let harden.
