I’m not gonna’ say that we didn’t eat our way through Pigeon Forge…but, in all honesty, we did. From the moment that we arrived, our taste buds were truly treated like royalty. I’m still thinking about some of the dishes that we ate and wondering if there’s any way to replicate them in the town where we live. While I know it’s not a possibility, it just gives my family and me another great reason to make a return trip to Pigeon Forge very, very soon.
Best Dining for Families in Pigeon Forge
Fining the best dining for families doesn’t have to be hard when visiting Pigeon Forge. In fact, all of these restaurants are highly recommended due to the taste and wide offerings that fit all varying needs and wants.
1. Big Daddy’s Pizzeria & Arcade
We take our pizza seriously. We literally eat pizza at every place and town that we travel to, so walking into Big Daddy’s Pizzeria & Arcade, we had set the bar high.
But, after one bite, the smiles were shining brightly on our face. Big Daddy’s just may be the true king of one of the best wood-fired brick oven pizza that you’ll ever eat.
With all the toppings on the menu, you can create the perfect pizza pie of your dreams.
2. Margaritaville Restaurant
If you find that you’re staying at the Margaritaville Hotel (or even if you aren’t), their restaurant just can’t be beaten. The Margaritaville Restaurant has your burgers and fries and all those foods that are chow-down friendly and perfect.
Don’t forget that it’s always 5 o’clock there as well! Such a great place to sit down, relax and enjoy the view of everything that the area has to offer.
3. FlapJack Pancake Cabin
Who doesn’t love to start their day with a good ol’ hearty breakfast? When we went to FlapJack Pancake Cabin, our girls got a stack (or two!) of pancakes and probably could have had more. I, on the other hand, enjoyed their delicious Chicken and Waffles.
Don’t forget to order their famous bit size Fritters! Yummy goodness rolled in sugar and served with cream cheese icing. This is one breakfast place that you won’t have to worry about leaving hungry!
4. Local Goat
If you’re craving a casual atmosphere where Mom and Dad can grab a delicious craft beer or two, the Local Goat has your number. Pull up a chair or a bar stool and relax your feet after a long day of exploring Pigeon Forge.
While their beer selection is great, their menu consists of awesome farm-to-table flavors that you just won’t find anywhere else. I highly recommend you trying their award-winning white chocolate bread pudding, too. It’s a real treat!
5. Old Mill Restaurant
If you love ribs and good old fashioned cooking, candy and desserts, the Old Mill Restaurant is where you need to be. The entire menu looks like something that Grandma would have made, and tastes like it as well!
Rekindle those taste buds and treat them to some delicious dishes that remind them of home!
6. Bullfish Grill
Bullfish Grill has a great atmosphere for the entire family. The warm wood – a prominent feature of many places in the area – reflects the lighting perfectly to provide an inviting vibe. Food options range from modern dishes like Hawaiian sirloin to southern classics like southern fried chicken tenders and low country shrimp and grits.
Dinner Shows in Pigeon Forge
While the restaurants are amazing, you’re not going to want to miss out on the awesome dinner shows, either. Here is one dinner show in Pigeon Forge that is family-friendly and certain to please!
Dolly Parton’s Stampede
Come hungry because you’re going to get so much food that you won’t be able to finish it all. From a whole chicken, to pork loin and don’t forget the sides, Dolly Parton’s Stampede truly knows how to celebrate the idea of a dinner and a show!
Plus, you’ll get to sit and enjoy some of the best live talents there is as well!
The next time that you’re planning a trip to Pigeon Forge, make certain that you give these restaurants and dinner shows your business. Every single one is 100% worth going to and enjoying.
In fact, I can’t wait until our next trip back! I’m still dreaming about some of those food bites that I had…until next time, Pigeon Forge!
If you haven’t been to Timberwood Grill yet, you need to the next time you’re in Pigeon Forge!!
