The Titanic Museum
Once your eyes locate the Titanic Museum, you’ll know without a doubt that this museum is one that you can’t miss. In fact, the outdoor appearance is a half-size replica of the real Titanic ship itself! Every detail is perfected and the time that you’ll spend inside the museum is worth every single moment!
A truly interactive experience
One of the best aspects of this museum is that it gives you the opportunity to truly feel first hand some of the experiences that passengers went through during the sinking of the ship. Not only can you try to take a step on the sloped deck, but you’ll also have the opportunity to dip your hand in the 28-degree water that they all felt as the water filled the cabins of the ship. Be prepared to be “wowed” by how detailed this museum truly is. The Titanic Museum goes above and beyond that make it a unique and one-of-a-kind experience.
Boarding passes for all to be able to enter the museum
From the moment that you enter the museum, each guest will receive an actual boarding pass from someone who was on the Titanic during that fateful trip.
You walk through the museum viewing over 400 different artifacts. While 400 precious artifacts is an astonishing number in itself, they are said to be valued at over 4 million dollars!
Don’t miss out on the self-guided tour!
Not only will you receive a boarding pass and get to walk at your own pace exploring all the artifacts of the museum, but you’ll also get to walk down an exact replica of the beautiful staircase from the ship, experience what it was like to shovel coal into the burning fire below, learn how to send requests to other ships letting them know that you’re in distress, and have the chance to sit in an actual lifeboat that was the size of what was offered to the passengers during the sinking of the Titanic.
Remember those from the Titanic by viewing the historic wall in the Titanic Museum
The Titanic museum does a great job at remembering those who lost their lives that day in 1912. They’ve dedicated an entire wall filled with 2,208 names that show just how many passengers and crew members lost their lives as the ship was going down. It truly is an emotional experience to view that many names all in one location.
While there are two locations in the US that are considered museums to showcase everything about the Titanic, visiting the one in Branson is an experience that you don’t want to miss. Not only can you tour as an individual, but you can also tour as a group as well.
