With their location at the entrance of Universal City Walk, they are super easy to find and can’t be missed! Not only are they known for their amazing seafood options and dishes, but their menu items are also all made from scratch as well! If the name Bubba Gump sounds familiar, you’re probably associating it with the movie Forrest Gump, right? Because of the popularity of Forrest Gump, it’s how the name Bubba Gump was chosen! If you are looking for some absolutely delicious food with a fun atmosphere, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. should be a restaurant on your list when visiting Orlando. My family and I had the opportunity to dine here on our recent trip to Florida. We were provided a complimentary meal in exchange for this review, but all opinions are my own.

For over 20 years, Bubba Gump Shrimp has been delighting the palates of their customers for lunch, dinner, desserts, and drinks. Their mission? To give customers a great place to relax, hang out with family and friends and enjoy some delicious food while doing so. It’s safe to say that with the popularity of their restaurant, their mission has been accomplished.
It’s hard to not smile once you step foot inside the door. The decor and the ambiance make it an enjoyable place to just want to “be”. Each employee takes pride in Bubba Gump Shrimp and it shows through with their customer service offered. The staff has even been known to interact and play with the families dining in a riveting game of Bubba Gump Trivia! From the second that you arrive, you’ll be greeted with a smile and that good ol’ southern charm.
Another great aspect of Bubba Gump Shrimp? If you happen to be on the lookout for a space large enough to accommodate you and about 15-500 of your closest family members and friends, there is always room for you all at Bubba Gump Shrimp. They offer great meeting and venue spaces to accommodate any size group!

Is it possible to take a test taste through a variety of amazing food dishes at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant and Market? Absolutely. Start off your visit with one of their delicious cocktails like their Sun-Sational Sips. Don’t forget to order it in a souvenir cup!
Get your taste buds started with one of their stellar appetizers (Shrimp Shack Mac & Cheese, anyone?!) before diving into the main course. Their appetizers are fun and easy to share!
The children’s menu offers something for everyone.
For the main course, your options for seafood seem endless and you may find it hard to narrow it down to just one item. I decided on the Charbroiled Cajun spiced Bourbon Street Mahi Mahi with grilled shrimp served over mashed potatoes.
Other great items include salads, burgers and seafood favorites like Mama Blue’s Southern Charmed Fried Shrimp.
Pair any of your entrees with a fresh side salad, with croutons, tomatoes, onions, cheese and fresh romaine.
Make certain that you save room for dessert because you won’t want to miss out on the epic Alabama Brownie or Mama’s Bread Pudding. You might as well just order a couple different dessert options and hand everyone at your table a spoon to dig in! Sharing is caring, right?
