Spooky Spaghetti With EyeBalls – A Spooky Fun Halloween Recipe Idea
Halloween is a time for thrills and chills, but also for some good ol’ fun Halloween treats and recipes as well. This Spooky Spaghetti With EyeBalls may be a little on the scary side, but your child will think it’s way more fun to eat than be scared of! INGREDIENTS FOR SPOOKY SPAGHETTI EYEBALLS:
Meatballs:
- 1 lb. Lean ground beef
- ½ cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ tsp, salt
- ½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- dash of pepper
Eyes:
- mozzarella stick cheese
- slice black olives
- 1 egg
Spaghetti:
- Spaghetti noodles
- Spaghetti sauce
HOW TO MAKE SPOOKY SPAGHETTI WITH EYEBALLS:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Line a baking dish with parchment paper
- In a large bowl, combine all meatball ingredients.
- Mix until well combined
- Shape into large 2 – 2.5-inch meatballs
- Place on baking sheet, 1 inch apart
- Slice cheese sticks into 3/4in. Pieces. Press into the top of meatballs
- Bake for about 10 minutes then add sliced olives on top of melted cheese. Continue baking for another 10 minutes or until no longer pink in center
- Cook spaghetti as directed on box
- Heat spaghetti sauce. Mix into pasta then top with “eyeball” meatballs
