It’s no secret that Avengers is literally everywhere right now. Rightfully so! Have you seen the latest movie?! While I’m a huge superhero fan, I do have to admit I have a soft spot in my heart for The Hulk. He’s just one of those big likable characters that tend to stick out in your mind.
These Hulk Cookies are one of those same types of desserts…They’re memorable, they’re delicious and you’ll love how they look tough but are truly sweet!
Celebrate the release of the Avengers Movie with these superhero cookies
Probably one of the coolest things about making these cookies is that they are actually really simple. I’m that kind of mom that always sees character cookies and thinks that I could never do something like that. But these Avengers Cookies? Nailed ’em!
While I made them to celebrate the release of the Avengers movie, they’re awesome to make for a Superhero birthday or other fun event such as that.
They are even fun to make when your little one is needed a boost of happiness or a sweet surprise in their lunch! Can you imagine their joy when they open up their lunchbox and have the hulk staring back at them?!
Ingredients needed to make these Avengers Cookies:
You just need a few simple ingredients to get started on these homemade hulk cookies!
- Your favorite recipe for sugar cookies, enough to make one dozen cookies
- 4-5 oz. green fondant
- 2-3 oz. black fondant
- Black decorating icing
- White decorating icing
- Circle cookie cutter, about 2 inches in diameter
How long do these Hulk cookies take to bake?
Just a few moments. Follow the directions for your homemade sugar cookie recipe and remember to let them cool! If you ice them too early, the fondant is going to melt off and make a big mess!
Can you use premade cookies for this Avengers Cookies recipe?
Yep! If you are running low on time, you just need to head to the store and buy some of the already made sugar cookies from the shelf. That way, you can still create them and decorate them to transform them into The Hulk!
How long can you store these cookies?
I always recommend storing them in a sealed container, in the fridge, for up to 48 hours. This will make certain that they keep their freshness and crispness to them and the flavor will be still great.
Can you freeze these Cookies for later?
Sure! You can freeze most treats and desserts to enjoy at a later time. Just know that there might be a chance that the texture is a bit different when it comes time to unthaw them. The fondant might be a bit more brittle and will the cookie.
See how simple and fun they can be? Now it’s your turn to make these Hulk Cookies in your house!
