Classic Rum Punch Recipe
Just like with all the best cocktails, a
rum punch recipe
can be modified to fit your taste. You can use both light and dark rum, or choose one.
1¼ ounces dark rum
1¼ ounces light rum
2 ounces pineapple juice
1 ounce freshly squeezed orange juice
¼ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
¼ ounce grenadine
1 or 2 maraschino cherries
Slices of orange, lemon, pineapple or lime
Put all the ingredients except the garnishes in a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake until well mixed and chilled.
Now strain the rum punch into a Hurricane glass over fresh ice.
Garnish with a cherry and/or your choice of sliced fresh fruits.
