Why Visiting The Island in Pigeon Forge, TN Needs to be on your Radar
It’s no secret that Pigeon Forge, TN offers a ton of activities that every age can enjoy. During our recent travels, we had the pleasure of visiting The Island, and we fell in love. How could you not? With over 60 different retail stores to shop and explore plus all the fun restaurants, rides, and games, it’s a safe bet to say that we’ll be returning back to The Island very, very soon.
There are literally a ton of great reasons to visit The Island in Pigeon Forge, TN but here are a few reasons why our family loved it.
Great food with amazing views

Margaritaville Restaurant
After spending some time walking around and exploring The Island, our tummies were growling. Luckily, we were able to hop in and grab a bite to eat at the Margaritaville Restaurant. Seriously, the food there is so good! (Plus, if you eat outdoors, you get an awesome view of the Great Smoky Ferris Wheel!)

Paula Deen’s Kitchen
But don’t overlook all the other delicious dining options that The Island has. From grabbing a bite of down-home comfort cooking at Paula Deen’s Kitchen to taste testing a bit of fudge from The Fudgery, there is literally something there to treat everyone’s taste buds.

Ole Smoky Moonshine
For those of you who are over 21, stop in at the Ole Smoky Moonshine as well. What better time to sip on some homemade moonshine then when visiting Pigeon Forge, TN? There are so many options and flavors that you couldn’t literally make a visit there daily if you wanted.

It’s fair to say that The Island doesn’t mess around when it comes to activities. It’s also complete truth that one could visit Pigeon Forge, TN and never run out of things to do just by walking around and exploring The Island. With activities like these, how can you not have fun?
