In a large skillet or pot, add garlic, onion and olive oil. Heat on medium for about 3-5 minutes or until the onion begins to soften and become translucent.
Add ham, broth, pasta, oregano, basil, pepper, and vegetables and stir to combine. Heat over medium high heat until it begins to boil. Reduce heat to simmer, cover and heat for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked to your liking.
