1large egg
1tablespoonvanilla extract
1/2teaspoonsalt
3cupsall purpose flour
Green food coloring
Red hots
Green fondant
Green Betty Crocker decorating frosting
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 325° and line a baking sheet with a piece parchment paper
Use a hand or stand mixer to mix your butter and sugar together until light and fluffy
Then mix in your vanilla extract and egg and green food coloring a little at a time until you have the color green you'd like
Now mix in your flour and salt
Knead the dough in your hands until it starts sticking together
Lay down a piece of parchment paper then flour a rolling pin and roll your dough out (think of a thick cookie)
Use a large scalloped circle cookie cutter to cut out the outside of your wreaths and then use your smallest scalloped circle to cut out the inside
Bake your cookies for 10 minutes and then let cool
While your cookies are cooling, roll out your green fondant in between two pieces of parchment paper and use your tiny diamond to cut out two diamonds per cookie
Place a dab of frosting into the left corner of each cookie and stick on your two diamond fondant pieces
Now dab a small amount of frosting on the bottom of three red hots and onto the top of your fondant
Spread out a very thin layer of frosting onto the top of your wreath and top with sprinkles
