Did you know that “gaming” together is a great family activity that you and your kiddos can enjoy together? So many times parents tend to separate themselves from participating in the games that their children play, but why? There are so many bonding moments and memories just waiting to be made! In our home, we recently got the chance to review the new Nintendo Switch game, Starlink Battle for Atlas.

I may have reverted back to my childhood days and enjoyed it way more than I thought I would, but it was such a blast. Plus, my girls loved it as well! Once we started the game, it wasn’t long before the hour flew by without us even realizing it! We were having too much fun strategizing together, laughing together and taking turns!

Not only does this game work for your Nintendo Switch, but it will also create so much fun for you and your family! It’s honestly so much more than a “game”. It features modular toy technology that then allows each player to make their very own starship and launch it into the game to play with! The technology of this game is incredible! We were in awe of how it all worked together to transform on our screen. (Keep in mind the Starlink Battle for Atlas is available on Nintendo Switch, the PlayStation®4 and Xbox One) Plus, once you get the physical starships created, you can then either play alone or with a friend with the main screen split.

Once my girls saw that they got to create a starship in real life that was then going to be used in the game, they couldn’t wait to get started. (Can you blame them…it’s really, really cool!) Watching them work together to create and use their imagination was really great as a mom, too. The game is amazing, and the teamwork and bonding was truly an added bonus.

Tips for Playing Starlink Battle for Atlas

  • Make certain to create the starship first because the game literally will not work without it!
  • Talk to your kids about technology and open up the lines of communication about how amazing the game truly is

Last but not least…

  • Join in on the fun!

Starlink Battle for Atlas is one of those games that you just have to play. Give your kiddos a chance to learn the ropes and enjoy, and then ask for it to be your turn!
