20 Symbols of Truth in Different Cultures

What Is Truth?

In today’s world, finding out the truth is difficult. These elements of truth can help you find the truth regarding the information you are being fed.

  • Quality of information – the first step is looking at where you get the information. An article, news station, or individual?
  • Source of information – next, find out if the person/source is a professional or someone who is passing along information.
  • Independent source of information – if the individual works for a company connected to the information, it may be unreliable.
  • Intent of conversation – finding out why they are sharing that information.
  • How they received the information – it’s important to know where they got it; then, you can reference the first points.
  • How complete is information – having all information about any topic is crucial in finding the truth.
  • Cross-referencing – information must be cross-referenced (with unconnected yet reliable sources) before being marked as truth.
  • Unbiased information – biased information is easy to spot. That’s why cross-referencing and checking other sources can help.
