These No-Bake Christmas Cookies made with Oreo Cookies are just what you need to enjoy over the next few weeks to ring in the holidays. We always have a ton of parties to attend over the holiday season. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to create these cookies! Not all desserts have to be hard. In fact, I’m all about saving time these days. If you can create something super cute, without a ton of work, go for it. These cookies require 5 ingredients total and everyone will go crazy for them. Go ahead and have fun making these as a family.
When the snow is falling and your feet are freezing, these Santa Cookies will be your go-to holiday treat!
All you need to make these Santa Mittens are just a few of these ingredients:
- Red Winter Oreos
- Wilton bright white candy melts
- Wilton Decorating Gel
- Wilton Mitten candy icing decorations
- Wilton Christmas nonpareil sprinkles
Empty your bag of bright white candy melts into a small microwave-safe bowl and heat on 50% power for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
Then, dunk one Oreo into the melted chocolate at a time, remove with a fork or the Wilton slotted decorating spoon and let any excess chocolate drop off.
Set your chocolate covered cookies onto a piece of parchment paper. Then, place two mitten candies onto the center of each chocolate covered Oreo and top with sprinkles.
Let your chocolate harden for about 30 minutes and use your black icing to attach the mittens with a swirly line.
