Packed full of amazing wineries, food, and history, a romantic weekend in Helen GA needs to be on your couples’ travel bucket list.
Disclosure: We mention brands below that we partnered with during this weekend, in which we received a complimentary visit. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

Having a weekend away with your honey is something that every couple needs. It’s just a way to reconnect and get back on the same page with conversation and communication.
My husband and I recently spent a romantic weekend in Helen, Georgia and had an absolutely amazing time.
I can’t wait to share with you everything that we were able to see and explore while we were there.
Where to stay in Helen GA
While there are plenty of lodging options available in Helen GA, we were beyond happy to stay at the newest hotel in Northern Georgia, Holiday Inn Express.
Not only were the rooms spacious and clean but everything about the hotel was modern and welcoming from the moment that we arrived.
The beds were comfy and it was so nice to know that we had a clean, safe and secure lodging option to rest at after we spent the day exploring the town.
We especially loved the fact that we could wake up the next morning and come downstairs to a delicious breakfast, which is included in the stay.
Did I mention, their Express Start breakfast bar also includes delicious Cinnabon Cinnamon rolls. Yum!
Where to dine in Helen GA
I can assure you that there are no shortages of delicious restaurants to eat at in Helen GA. One of our favorites was Mullys Nacoochee Grill where the theme is farm to fresh entrees and meals.
Their menu is loaded with amazing steak options, seafood, and salads and don’t forget to check out their drink menu as well.
It’s safe to say that we were beyond satisfied with our meal and service at this fine dining establishment.
Adventures to explore in Helen GA
As I mentioned earlier, our family had been to Helen previously and done all the awesome family-friendly attractions.

But when my husband and I returned as a couple, we were able to focus in on other attractions that we really didn’t get to do the first go around.

We were even set up with a delicious lunch where my husband and I were able to sit, relax and just fully immerse ourselves in each other’s company.
We had a full day of winery tours, and every minute was wonderful.
It was the perfect day!
