How We Make Every Smile Worthwhile
Raising our kids is so fun! Each day we try and create memories with them. I guess you could say that we try and make every smile worthwhile. Here are some ways you can make every smile worthwhile.
Say Nice Things to Each Other
There is a rule in our house that we can only say nice things to each other. It can be easy to be really crabby after a long day at work or school. It may take extra work to be nice, but it’s worth it. Seeing someone smile after saying something nice, especially in your family, it makes it all worthwhile.
Encourage and Be Close By
When my kids come home from school, they are hungry and tired. Plus, they do not always look forward to homework. I encourage them every step of the way and close by if they need me. Plus, I always make sure they have a smiley snack ready for them when they get home like the Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Baked With Whole Grain Cheddar or the Goldfish Colors Cheddar. These snacks are enough to make you smile.
Make Memories No Matter What
If you follow my blog on a daily basis, you know that we are all about making memories with my kids. Recently we went to Florida. We also have several small things and big things planned for our family in the upcoming weeks. Seeing my kids smile after we do something awesome with them, makes it all worthwhile.
Spend Time Together
When my kids smile after spending time together, it makes their smile worthwhile. I don’t think there is anything better than seeing your kids smile. You don’t have to spend money or do anything crazy with your kids in order to spend time together with your kids. We love to play board games or even color together! Sometimes we even watch our favorite shows together. No matter what you choose to do, spending time together makes my kids smile, and that makes everything worthwhile.
Make Every Moment Count
Just like your family, we are always busy. Our goal is to always make every moment count. When you make every moment count, you know it makes every smile worthwhile. Whether you’re singing songs in the car or dancing out in the parking lot, make every moment count. Don’t take the moments for granted either, life goes too quickly. I like to believe that smiles are proof that life is good. Seeing my kids smile and be happy makes everything worthwhile. Parents go through a lot to make sure their kids are happy, don’t we? However, we can all agree that their smiles make it all worthwhile.
