Healthy habits are an important part of our overall health and well-being. And they are exactly what we call them habits. It’s important to make them as much a part of our daily routines as showering and brushing our teeth. Finding motivation to be healthy is hard, especially when everything that’s bad for you is just so darn enjoyable. Healthy Habits are Easier to Start than You Think
The hardest part of getting healthy is overcoming that first block that we all seem to have, which is actually starting. Something I learned almost immediately when I started adding healthy habits to my life is that breaking through the anticipation of getting healthy is actually so much harder to break through than it is to actually get healthy. Our minds block us every time! These tips can help you overcome yourself as your own worst enemy.
I will be the first to admit that I am not a morning person. However, going to bed early has been a resolution of mine. Along with that resolution, waking up early is important. I make my Bulletproof coffee and get my day started. This has helped me so much in trying to form those healthy habits.
One thing that has helped me progress in my healthy habits has been to make motivational posters. You can use posters or sticky notes to make these posters. You can even look on Pinterest to find motivational quotes for your healthy habit success.
Find an Accountability Partner
When it comes to being motivated for healthy habits, it helps to have an accountability partner. I like to ask friends what their healthy habit resolutions are and then if we can keep each other accountable. It’s awesome when you find a person who has the same healthy habit resolutions as you!
Get the Family Involved
I have noticed that when you need to stay healthy or create new healthy habits, it helps if your whole family is on board. By having the whole family on board, you will see more success. No one is perfect when it comes to having healthy habit motivation, but getting the family on board is important. I always feel more successful this way.
Don’t Give Up!
Even when I fail in the healthy habit department, I just keep going. I start again with my next meal and don’t fret about it. Don’t give up easily, even when you fail at living a healthy lifestyle. It’s not about the destination, but about the journey to get there.

Healthy Habits are TOTALLY Achievable
When I look at myself in the mirror, I know that healthy habits aren’t formed in one day. It takes time and energy to reach your health goals.
