Looking for a fun family-friendly activity that encourages teamwork, dedication, and good sportsmanship? A night (or two) at the baseball diamond cheering on the Gwinnett Stripers Triple AAA Minor League Baseball Team is where you and your family need to be!
If you are a baseball fan, the song “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” is one that you can probably belt out without an issue. It’s emotions and thoughts like those that make taking the family to see the Gwinnett Stripers in their upcoming 2019 season all that more awesome.
Sitting together in the stands, cheering on a local team is actually a ton of fun. It’s one place where kids can be kids, adults can relax and enjoy as well and everyone can chow down on a stadium hotdog and a nice cold drink.
Sounds pretty awesome right about now, doesn’t it? Guess what? The Gwinnett Stripers have some awesome family events and promotions this year that you need to be a part of!
Gwinnett Stripers Promotions
The Gwinnett Stripers love that family feel. They know that every game night their stands are full of kids, adults and families all cheering for them inning after inning. One way that they can say “thank you” back to the fans is by having some fun promotions scattered throughout the year!
Our family truly loves the Gwinnett Stripers. For our family of four, the price is very reasonable and it’s a simple way for us to unplug for the digital world for a while and plug into watching America’s favorite sport. Plus, there’s really nothing quite like eating some peanuts and hot dogs while cheering on your favorite minor league baseball team!
How did this minor league baseball team get named the Gwinnett Stripers?
While they are now known for this name, it hasn’t always been what they’ve been called. Originally, they were the Gwinnett Braves but due to the abundance and popularity of fishing in the area (and the Gwinnett County’s Lake Lanier), the baseball team made a name switch and has never looked back.
It’s quite “catchy”, don’t you think?
