College Football Hall of Fame
Our daughter and son in law were in town this past weekend and I thought what better place to visit then the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta! Last year I took my husband for his birthday for the very first time and he loved it! You can read my past time review here. The next time you are in Atlanta, this museum should definitely be on your list for places to visit especially if you are a huge college football fan. I have partnered with them to host this awesome giveaway for a family four pack of tickets- see below. My family received free entry to the College Football Hall of Fame to help facilitate this giveaway and review and I have not been compensated. Opinions are 100% my own.
The College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Experience is devoted to college football, holding a ton of college artifacts, trophies, interactive displays, event space, and even a 45 yard line indoor football field.
The first thing you must do when entering this museum is activate your college game day pass at the registration desk. Based on your favorite college football team, you will have a unique interactive experience throughout the museum.
Check out The Quad afterwards, and see your team football helmet lit up on the wall. There are almost 800 college football helmets displayed!
Next you will enter into The Playing Field & Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Skill Zone, a 45 yard line indoor replica of an actual football field. There you can test your skills and attempt to kick the football over the goal. The kids enjoyed this! There are always activities, games, or events going on daily here.
On the second floor, you can experience the Why We Love Football Exhibit, Game Day Theater, Coca-Cola Fans’ Game Day, KIA Building a Champion, AT&T Game Time, & Chick-fil-A Building Leaders exhibits & virtual galleries.
Lastly, on the third floor is the one of a kind College Football Hall of Fame. Here you will read about famous players who are honored for their accomplishments and records displayed on beautiful etched glass.
Mom’s Final Thoughts:
Your experience through the interactive museum will be captured and emailed to view and download for 30 days. Please allow 2- 3 hours for a visit. There is lots to see and do. After completion of each activity throughout the museum, the kids can collect completion badges on their college game day pass. If you get hungry they do have a Chick-fil-A window that offers sandwiches and drinks on The Playing Field, first floor. Wear tennis shoes if you want to actively participate in the Playing Field and kick the football over the field goal.
Upcoming events in July:
The College Football Hall of Fame will round out the stellar “Football Blues” tailgate series on July 16th with a patriotic twist. Join our red, white and blue party and enjoy music from the Andrew Velez Band from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm!
