My Little Girls’ Dreams Come True!

I was in no way compensated for this review, my opinions expressed below are about our experience at the boutique. Your experience may differ from ours.

It was my girls very first time in Disney World and we wanted both of them to have the most magical experience ever! Afterall, you are in the most magical place on earth!  So we decided to take them to visit the Fairy Godmothers in Training themselves at the Bibbidi Bobbidy Boutique in Cinderella’s Castle. First off, I was not prepared for this experience when we first entered into the Magic Kingdom. All girls were dressed in princess costumes all throughout the theme park. I came very unprepared, having Brooklynn and her sister dressed in very simple sundresses. As the day went on and we noticed more and more girls were coming out of the Boutique dressed in these dazzling costumes. Her father and I had no idea that every little princess really dressed for the occasion It just so happened to be our luck there was a Disney costume store right next to the Princess Castle, of course! Father convinced me that it was a fabulous idea to browse the store only to stumble on authentic Disney costumes for a WHOPPING $70 a dress!  And of course our precious gems with their puppy dog eyes and sweet little puckered out lips. Yes, we couldn’t resist.….

Totally worth it after two years of making sure they wore those dresses for every occasion: book character day, three Halloweens, Daddy Daughter dance, etc.  I assure you I got my money worth!

The girls arrived for their appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidy Boutique inside Cinderella’s Castle and was quickly announced by the greeters with, “Princess Brooklynn, Princess Abigail …. your Fairy Godmother is ready for you!”    Their Fairy Godmother in Training directed them to a plush dressing room where you can change into your gown prior to your makeover.  They were brought to their station and the Fairy Godmother asked them which hairstyle they would like to have– Because my two girls like to do almost everything alike, they both opted for the traditional Fairytale Princess style which is where their hair was pulled back in a tight bun….and might I add… enormous amount of hairspray. I felt like I was back in the early 90’s again with my AQUA!

A tiara was added along with a rhinestone studded Mickey-head barrette in the back to catch any stray locks.  Face jewels, a dusting of eye shadow, a light coating of lipgloss and a magical dusting of sparkling pixie dust completed the look. It took about an hour for the full makeover and experience! The big reveal was absolutely priceless. The Fairy Godmothers spun Brooklynn and Abigail around in their chairs shouting, “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!”  They BOTH looked absolutely beautiful – just like princess Cinderella.

And of course, you cannot go to Magical Kingdom, get beautified at the Bibbidi Bobbidy Boutique without having dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Conveniently located right off the boutique is the castle itself! There you can meet the Cinderella herself before being escorted upstairs for a one of a kind Fairytale dining experience dinner in the Castle with all the other Disney Princesses. They we were treated like royalty this very magical day. Both Brooklynn & Abigail really felt like a princess! I know they will never forget it!

Tips when planning your trip to Bippidy Boppidy Boutique

  • Bring your child’s princess or prince costume from home – It will save you a bundle of money!!!
  • Make appointments for the Bippidy Boppidy Boutique well in advance (up to six months beforehand). Appointments book up fast. (404) WDW-STYLE
  • Plan your appointment right before dinner reservations if you do decide to dine at the Princess Castle- I would allow atleast two – three hours before.
  • Choose your princess package ahead of time. Packages run between $59.95 – $149.95  (We choose the Crown Package)
  • I would personally recommend planning this experience later in the day after you have walked through the park and have ridden the rides. Your little Princesses or Prince may not want to be in a costume the entire day!
  • Take a ton of pictures and let your princesses and princes enjoy this magical experience.

All photos were taken by Disney World with the Memory Maker.

Have you ever been to Bippidy Boppidy Boutique? If so, I would love to hear your experience?
