7 Of the BEST Things to See at Disney’s Magic Kingdom
Disney’s Magic Kingdom I would have to say is my children’s favorite theme park although it is so hard to choose because they are all amazing! This year I was unable to visit the Magic Kingdom as my attendance was at the Disney Social Media Mom’s conference but I was grateful my mother came along so they could go. There is so much to see in the Magic Kingdom that it can be hard to narrow down one favorite. So if you’re headed to Disney soon or later this year, you will want to know the BEST of the BEST to see. These are some of my children’s suggestions:
Head Down Main Street
You have probably heard this before, but Main Street is where it’s at when it comes to Disney’s Magic Kingdom! You’ll get a “home town” feel with so much to do. Parades, ice cream, dancing, Disney Characters, and so much more! I’ve always known that downtown is the place to be!
Head to Splash Mountain
If you’ve never been to Disney before, Splash Mountain is a must experience. We love the characters we always see at Splash Mountain, but that’s not the only reason to head there. This is a fun, exciting, and must-do ride. Plus, it helps to get splashed with the cool water whenever it’s super-hot outside.
Space Mountain is also a Must
I don’t know if you’ve ever been to Space Mountain, but it’s one of our favorites. It’s actually a “roller coaster” and an amazing experience. Word has it that it could be the tallest “mountain” in Florida if it could actually be claimed as a mountain. When you’re on Space Mountain, you truly feel as though you’re going out of this world.
Grab some Grub
When it comes to grabbing some grub at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, you may be confused. There are so may awesome option, so where to eat? Experiencing eating or dining in Disney is one of the highlights of the trip. We try to mix it up when we eat at Disney. We love the Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom park. Cinderella’s Royal Table, Liberty Tree Tavern, and Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café are all really awesome as well.
Peter Pan’s Flight
I’m not sure why, but we love Peter Pan’s Flight. It’s more of a slow ride, but I think that’s why we love it. It’s so nice to slow down and just enjoy a ride. SO many rides today have to be “faster” and Peter Plan’s Flight is perfect. If you have little ones, this is a must!
You need to Experience Disney After Hours
Something we’ve always love in Disney’s Magic Kingdom is Disney’s After Hours. This is a special time to check out the attractions with no wait. I’d encourage you to do this if you really don’t want to wait in line. It may be hard for little kids, but if you have teenagers, it could be totally worth it!
Mad Tea Party
Have you always wanted to meet Alice in Wonderland? Now you can at the Mad Tea Party! While this is great for kids, it’s fun to see the looks on their faces when they get to have tea with some of the best characters at Disney.
The thing about Disney’s Magic Kingdom is that there is so much awesomeness. I would recommend if you do visit to spare a few days to visit this park. You cannot experience everything in just one day. Park Hoppers are a favorite of mine as you can leave one theme park and visit another in the same day!
